Dairy and Beef Cattle
For the removal and control of:

• Lungworms: Adult Dictyocaulus viviparus
• Stomach worms:
  • Adult brown stomach worms (Ostertagia ostertagi)
  • Adult and fourth stage larvae barberpole worms (Haemonchus contortus)
  • Fourth stage larvae barberpole worms (Haemonchus placei)
  • Adult and fourth stage larvae small stomach worms (Trichostrongylus axei)
• Intestinal worms (Adult and fourth stage larvae):
  • Hookworms (Bunostomum phlebotomum)
  • Thread-necked intestinal worms (Nematodirus helvetianus)
  • Small intestinal worms (Cooperia punctata, Cooperia oncophora)

Dosage and Administration:

• Mix 1 pound of Type B (0.5%) medicated feed containing 4,540 g/ton fenbendazole with 4 pounds of feed ingredients to manufacture Type C medicated feed containing 908 grams fenbendazole per ton.
• Feed the resulting Type C medicated feed as the sole ration for one day at a rate of 0.5 pounds per 100 pounds of body weight to provide 2.27 mg of fenbendazole per pound of body weight.
• Always provide plenty of clean, fresh water.
• Ensure each animal receives a complete dose based on a current body weight. Do not underdose to prevent ineffective treatment and the development of parasite resistance.

Swine
For the treatment and control of:

• Lungworms: Adult Metastrongylus apri, Adult Metastrongylus pudendotectus
• Gastrointestinal worms (Adult and Larvae):
  • Large roundworms (Ascaris suum)
  • Nodular worms (Oesophagostomum dentatum, Oesophagostomum quadrispinulatum)
  • Small stomach worms (Hyostrongylus rubidus)
  • Whipworms (Trichuris suis)
• Kidney worms: Adult and larvae Stephanurus dentatus

Dosage and Administration:

• Mix 1 pound of Type B (0.5%) medicated feed containing 4,540 g/ton fenbendazole with 14.13 pounds of feed ingredients to manufacture Type C medicated feed containing 300 grams of fenbendazole per ton.
• Feed the resulting Type C medicated feed as the sole ration for 3-12 consecutive days at the rate of 0.9 to 0.23 pounds per 100 pounds of body weight to provide 4.08 mg fenbendazole per pound of body weight.

Horses
For the treatment and control of:

• Large strongyles: Strongylus edentatus, Strongylus equinus, Strongylus vulgaris, Triodontophorus spp.
• Small strongyles: Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocyclus spp., Cylicostephanus spp.
• Pinworms: Oxyuris equi
• Ascarids: Parascaris equorum

Dosage and Administration:

• Feed Type medicated feed at the rate of 0.1 or 0.2 pounds per 100 pounds of body weight to provide 2.27 or 2.54 mg fenbendazole per pound of body weight.
• For the control of large strongyles, small strongyles, and pinworms: 2.27 mg fenbendazole per pound body weight in a one-day treatment.
• For the control of ascarids: 4.54 mg fenbendazole per pound body weight in a one-day treatment.
• Ensure each animal consumes an adequate amount of medicated feed. Do not underdose to prevent ineffective treatment and the development of parasite resistance.

Growing Turkeys
For the treatment and control of:

• Gastrointestinal worms: Roundworms (Ascaridia dissimilis) adults and larvae
• Cecal worms (Heterakis gallinarum) adults and larvae, an important vector of Histomonas meleagridis (Blackhead)

Dosage and Administration:

• Mix 1 pound of Prairie Pride Safe-Guard 0.5% alfalfa-based pellets into 313 pounds of feed to achieve a concentration of 14.5 grams fenbendazole per ton of feed.
• Feed this medicated feed as the sole ration for 6 days.
