Our HydraHyde leather is treated to be water-resistant and breathable. This treatment is applied during the tanning process, creating a soft and supple leather for the entire life of the glove! Note: Gloves are not waterproof. Goatskin leather is often considered to be the strongest leather thanks to its high tensile strength and abrasion-resistance. Despite being thinner, it has an excellent tear resistance. The lanolin, or natural oil, makes goatskin soft and pliable.
